Exploring the world through the lens of camera

A few days ago we traveled with our Belgian friends to the village of Arzakan for living in host families and getting acquainted with the traditions of the village. I had to stay in the Azizian family, in a family where only three people lived, but on these days their two-story house was full. Guests came from different regions and places.

The village was celebrating one of ceremonies

The day before ceremony the streets was filled

with car voices, a great deal of people, and, of course, great preparation. Some of them baked gata and some were lavash. Men were preparing meat, doing construction work, and other things.

At Azizyans’ home, where I was overnight, was beautiful and great enthusiasm for ceremony. Mrs Sasun made a whole universe with colorful lights in the yard, the moon with yellow, and the stars on the sides. Miss Gayane baked lavash and gata. And everyone was waiting for the beautiful morning of the day and sacrifice.

From 5:30 am, people started flowing to the Surb Astvatsatsin church in the village of Arzakan to participate in the celebrations.

We woke up from the voices of booming house. The Azizians did not endure, that morning had begun, they began to work intensively.

We got up, Mrs Sasun quickly called us out, he made a wooden table on the occasion of holiday, and his eyes were full of happiness. It was a happiness that he had a big role in celebrating the holiday. We ate breakfast and everyone went through their work.

Mrs Sasun was preparing a sacrifice, and Miss Gayane cooked meal. In Tonir colorful vegetables and meat became barbeceu. One of the important components of the holiday was made in the fireplace with beautiful colors. The room next to the kitchen, where they baked bread, was full of lavash sheaf and stoves.

The guests do and participate the preparations like homeowners. Susan grandma helped to cook meals, the other cleaned bent and cooked salad.

They were cooked, cooked and cooked so delicious and delicious, they did not finish their work, but they did not even get tired of doing it. In the end, when we were to go, the family members were shrinking from us and said.

-Why do you go without eat this mealswith us ?

They did not allow us to go.They sit down at the table and explained that we could not go without eating a meal, so they could not let us leave their home without eating. We ate a piece and went out.

The beautiful barbecue also was promised to taste the once again with the expectation of hosting again.
